This program is extremely user friendly and is great for designing a basic floor plan. However, I was trying to design my dream home, a 3500 sq ft house on a half acre lot, and after only designing the house and backyard (and not furnishing/decorating the house at all), the program transitions EXTREMELY slowly from 2D to 3D views. I simply solved the problem by creating 2 separate files, one is just the house, the other is just the backyard, and this seems to keep the program transitioning faster.

The software is easy to use and reasonably intuitive to learn for those who postpone using the manual. To date I've only designed simple floorplans for a retirement home and found that it is easy to make and change layouts and features. I recommend this for the Mac if you are looking for a low cost design package with excellent features and ease of use.

After you spend two days fine tuning with your drawing, there are only two possible way to print. One is to print an unreadable, small sized print with spaces all over the paper. Or, print to scale with 24 pages. Cannot print partial, cannot size it, cannot do anything about it.

Sorry to add my voice to the others who found this program frustrating. Many small bugs and large flaws. Trying to make alterations to existing walls was the last straw. I saw this at an Apple Store, and assumed that they stood behind the software they sell. They should take this one off their shelves.
